Collegiate Beach Championship – USA Volleyball and the USOC jointly conducted the Bridgestone USA Volleyball Collegiate Beach Championships, part of the Team USA Summer Champions Series presented by Xfinity. NBCSN broadcasted two hours of the championships. Winners of the event represented the United States at the 2018 FISU World University Championship.
2018 Accomplishments
USOC Athlete Selection Procedures have been approved for the following Games:
2019 through 2022 High Performance Plans (beach, indoor & sitting) finalized and submitted.
- USAV Staff attended a USOC Site Visit and Planning Session in Tokyo in preparation for the 2020 Games.
- Began activation meetings with USOC Athlete Career & Education (ACE) program staff to offer career services, education and life skills to National Team athletes in all disciplines.
