Marketing, Communications & Creative Services

2018 was a record-breaking year across key USA Volleyball platforms including social media, website and email marketing. It was also marked by a department restructure, introducing a marketing function with the hiring of a director of marketing.

2018 Accomplishments

      • 1st issue of USA Volleyball’s new digital magazine was launched on Nov. 15, 2018, to subscribed members via email.

    • Finished the year with 2.29M visitors to website, an increase of 7.6 percent over 2017, and 14.2 percent over 2014 (comparable second year of quad).
    • We rank No. 3 in interactions amongst NGBs in 2018 with 5.6M
    • We also rank No. 3 in video views in 2018 amongst NGBs with 12.24M
    • USAV main Instagram account hit 500k Followers on Aug. 5
    • 155K total follower growth across all social platforms
    • Added Parents Newsletter and Clubs Newsletter in 2018
    • Sent 30 total newsletters (10 Dig Deeper, 11 Growing the Game, 5 Around the Block and 4 The Car Ride Home)
